Design and art have always been a big part of my life, many thanks to my parents that made me and my sisters go to every museum they could think off whenever we traveled. This, however, was probably what led me to study fine arts. Taking the step from fine arts to graphic design came pretty naturally. In the end, it is all about expressing yourself, to communicate, being creative.
I took a graphic design evening course at Forsbergs Design school in Stockholm and it made me realise: This is what I want to do! I studied a year at Mediaskolan and from there on to Sydney for two more years of studying before entering the advertising industry. From Sydney to Stockholm and now I'm working as an Art Director at Magine, a Swedish startup aiming to be the future of TV, as well as the go-to-platform if you want to distribute content around the globe.
I really value being part of a creative team, to bounce ideas between each other and discuss different solutions to a problem or a brief and discover new ways to do things that I might not have thought about myself.
But I also work well on my own, taking it from brief to production. As a designer, my strongest attributes are my attention to detail, a good sense of layout and typography. I’m driven and I always strive to become a better designer.
